What We’re Doing in Scotland
Our itineraries are carefully crafted to give you a balance of planned group activities and free time to spend at leisure. For example, one day we’ll be taking you on a local adventure such as visiting a whiskey distillery or doing a walking tour of Edinburgh (details to be confirmed), but then there will be plenty of moments you’ll have some free time to enjoy how you wish (on your own or with other travelers!) Other days you’ll have mornings to yourself to relax in the property cosying up with a book, before the group will come together for afternoon activities or dinners together.
But don’t worry… even with the free time you’re given, our team is here to equip you with ample suggestions and additional opportunities to sign up for so you’re never short of things to do.
For more details on our itinerary, see the pricing and inclusions list below.
Who is this trip for?
Atlas Adventures are built around a shared set of values rooted in kindness. We believe in prioritizing connection (whether with locals or fellow travelers), keeping an open mind through all experiences, and being adaptable with all that travel may bring. If the descriptions below sound like you, we want you to join us!
You are extremely flexible, open minded, easy-going and always up for a range of experiences.
You’re a positive person who looks for the best in all circumstances.
You enjoy meeting new people and are keen to make friends on this trip.
You desire to be a better traveler: respecting other people, other cultures + the planet along the way.
UNIQUE CONSIDERATIONS FOR Scotland
You’re happy to ride via car/van/coach!: We will be spending a lot of time in a coach (two days with 5 hour drives, and a couple days with 1-2 hour drives). Please ensure you’re comfortable being a passenger this frequently/for these periods of time.
You’re a nature lover. Isle of Skye specifically is remote, meaning there aren’t endless attractions. This means bundling up for countryside walks, cosying up by the fire and being content with the beauty of your surroundings.
