Lasala Plaza benefits from one of the best locations in San Sebastián, with easy access to both the beach and the city centre, as well as amazing views of one of Europe's most beautiful beaches, La Concha, particularly enjoyed from its rooftop bar area pool area. The hotel’s art, architecture, and cuisine are a reflection of the local seaside culture, yet are clean, modern, and comfortable in equal measures.

Intercontinental Bordeaux is pure luxury right in the heart of Bordeaux. The hotel is housed in a stunning historic building, a great example of Baroque and Neoclassicism decor, with an excellent location overlooking the opera house and minutes from many of the city's key sights. There are lavish amenities, including the Guerlain Spa, and a gorgeous cityscape view from the rooftop terrace - you’ll definitely want a sunset drink here!

Trip Planner Marigold is a certified yoga teacher, has her WSET 2 wine qualification, and is an enthusiastic runner and coffee lover. She has grown up abroad and is fluent in French, and continues to explore the country regularly with family based there. She recently had a family trip to the Basque country and couldn’t wait to plan an Atlas Adventure trip here!

Food, stunning landscapes, and architecture are her travel holy trinity- and let us tell you, the northern coast of Spain has these to offer in spades. The myriad of small, authentic villages to explore, Rioja wine, the hikes, the Basque cheesecake, and sunset swims have her excited to return once again.

Marigold hosted our extremely popular trip to Paris, Limoges, and Bordeaux last year and is so pleased to be able to pair these two destinations together for the first time for Atlas Adventures.
