Journey throughout Egypt with us, as we stay at two incredible five-star properties and aboard a private luxury dahabiya.

What We’re Doing in Egypt
Atlas Adventures is journeying to the ancient wonders of Egypt. Starting with two nights in Cairo, where we will explore the Giza Plateau, home to Egypt’s most iconic treasures — the Great Pyramids, the Sphinx, and ancient royal tombs.
You’ll have the opportunity to visit the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum, after an approximately 20-year delay. This stunning museum is located at the edge of the first desert plateau between the pyramids and Cairo, offering stunning views and amazing antiquities.
Following that, we’ll fly south to embark on a luxurious private Nile River cruise between Luxor and Aswan, visiting iconic sites like the Valley of the Kings, Philae Temple, and walking along the Avenue of Sphinx, all while experiencing the beauty of timeless river life in comfort and privacy. This is a truly special experience to have an entire luxury cruise to ourselves with our guide.
Meet Your Hosts
Leading this Atlas Adventures trip to Egypt is Victoria, our Director of Trips. Victoria grew up in the Middle East, Dubai specifically. Her childhood as an expat gave her a deep appreciation and understanding of Arab culture, blending the cosmopolitan lifestyle of Dubai with the Middle East’s rich history and customs. She is thrilled to explore Egypt’s ancient ruins, from the pyramids to the temples of Luxor, and can’t wait to experience it all with you!
Victoria will be joined by Marigold, one of our Atlas Trip Planners. Having lived in Egypt for five years growing up, she has fond memories of riding horses around the pyramids and exploring the souks. With travel knowledge from having lived and visited most continents, she is particularly excited to share this slice of her childhood home with you!

Negotiating with vendors and in markets is part of the experience, so bring your bargaining skills!
You’ll want to stick to bottled water and be cautious with street food. Everywhere we take you is safe to eat and drink.

If this trip needs to be cancelled for any COVID 19 reasons (see below) we will reschedule (or, your funds can be applied to a future Atlas Adventures trip):
