Where We're Staying
Nestled high above the Lauterbrunnental, the recently re-opened Grand Hotel Belvédère is Wengen’s first 5-star hotel—where classic Alpine elegance meets modern luxury. With 90 beautifully designed rooms and suites, every stay offers sweeping views of the Jungfrau, a thoughtful blend of contemporary design and local craftsmanship, and outstanding amenities including two restaurants, a modern spa with indoor & outdoor pools, and multiple saunas. Just a short, scenic walk from the village centre and the mountain lifts, it's an ideal base for both tranquil moments and alpine adventures.
Perched in the charming, car-free village of Zermatt, BEAUSiTE is a beautifully restored Belle Époque hotel originally opened in 1907 and reimagined in 2022 with fresh design flair by Atelier Zürich. It sits in an elevated panoramic position, giving guests direct and dramatic views of the Matterhorn. Inside, antique alpine charm meets modern boutique design — cozy fabrics, thoughtful lighting, artistic touches — plus its “Recharge Zone” spa offers a peaceful space for unwinding after a day of hiking or exploring.

Meet Your Hosts
Leading our first Atlas Adventures trip to Switzerland is Caitlin!
After a life-changing backpacking trip a decade ago, Caitlin moved to Germany to follow her passion for photography and exploring new places. Based in Munich, she takes any chance she can to head to the mountains on the weekends. These days, you’ll often find her up early, camera in hand, chasing the first light over the peaks or capturing the glow of a sunset settling over an alpine village.
Caitlin speaks German, knows her way around the Alps like a local, and loves nothing more than hiking new trails, tasting local dishes, and connecting with people from all over the world. Most of all, she’s excited to share her favorite corners of Switzerland with you — the places that made her fall in love with the mountains in the first place.
