Where We're Staying
Villa Dorata Country House
We’ll start our trip at the Villa Dorata Country House, which is nestled in the countryside on the outskirts of Noto (a stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its stunning Baroque architecture). Offering authentic Sicilian charm with rustic decor, this property provides a luxurious and peaceful retreat surrounded by lush gardens and even private pools. Its farm-to-table dining showcases fresh, local ingredients, giving guests a true taste of the region's rich culinary heritage. Perfectly located, the villa serves as an ideal base for exploring the history, art, and beauty of southeastern Sicily.
Belmond Villa Sant’Andrea
From there, we’ll venture to the iconic Belmond Villa Sant’Andrea. Nestled in a private bay in Taormina Mare, the hotel boasts breathtaking views of the Mediterranean, with direct access to a pristine beach. The villa offers elegant, historic charm with modern amenities, lush gardens, and world-class dining that highlights the best of Sicilian flavors. Its proximity to Taormina’s ancient sites and Mount Etna provides the perfect combination of relaxation and exploration for a truly unforgettable stay.
What We’re Doing in Sicily
Our itineraries are carefully crafted to give you a balance of planned group activities and free time to spend at leisure. For example, one day we’ll take you to discover the town of Noto, but then that evening you’re free to do dinner wherever you choose (on your own or with other travelers!) Other days you’ll have mornings to yourself to relax at the pool/beach, before the group will come together for afternoon activities or dinners together.
But don’t worry… even with the free time you’re given, our team is here to equip you with ample suggestions and additional opportunities to sign up for so you’re never short of things to do.

You’re up for car rides. We’ll be taking rustic, country roads to venture to these local experiences. Those who are prone to car sickness should proceed with caution.
You enjoy a wide range of food. While we do our best to accommodate dietary requirements, please note we’ll be making the most of the local cuisine (which is heavy into seafood, grains and dairy).

If this trip needs to be cancelled for any COVID 19 reasons (see below) we will reschedule (or, your funds can be applied to a future Atlas Adventures trip):
COVID related border closures prohibiting non-residents travel in /out of destination country
Mandatory quarantine upon arrival to destination country
